The Pandan Parliament, in collaboration with the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ), will be organizing the Karnival Belia Madani 2.0 X Foodie Food Fest from May 29 to June 1.

Held at the parking lot in front of Ampang Hospital, Selangor, this second edition of the carnival aims to empower local youth through a variety of engaging activities that combine elements of education, health, entrepreneurship, and the arts.

Among the activities provided are 70 food stalls, an e-sports competition (Mobile Legends), coloring contests, arm wrestling competitions, e-football tournaments, golden voice karaoke contests, a mini zoo, and special performances by singer Apak Harry Khalifah, the band Cherpen, Lan Solo, and many more.

Program Director Madiah Masud stated that Karnival Belia Madani 2.0 is a program designed to encourage youth participation in meaningful activities such as forums, workshops, competitions, and cultural and artistic performances.

“This program serves as a platform to strengthen unity and offers young people the opportunity to share ideas and build social networks.

“It also aims to shape competitive, creative, and progressive-minded youth across various fields,” she said.

At the same time, the carnival also supports and promotes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by providing opportunities for youth to engage in programs centered on progress, innovation, and sustainability.

Through workshops and competitions, participants can increase their awareness of social, economic, and environmental issues, in line with sustainable development principles.

“This helps cultivate a generation of youth who are more aware of global challenges and prepared to contribute positively to society,” she added.

The carnival is also enhanced by the National Malaysian Agenda Roadshow and offers free health services such as health screenings, dental services, PEKA B40, and cancer screenings for women.

Additionally, the carnival features a robotics challenge zone and interactive health games.

It will also be enlivened by Rahmah Fair Price sales and direct-from-farm sales by FAMA.

We invite members of the media to attend and cover this event to further enliven the atmosphere and help disseminate information to the public regarding the Government’s initiatives in empowering youth and the local community.
