UniSZA denies selling fake certificates, plans legal action to address misinformation

KUALA TERENGGANU: Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) has firmly denied recent allegations linking the university to the sale of counterfeit academic certificates on social media.

In a statement released today, UniSZA emphasized that it takes such accusations seriously and remains committed to upholding the integrity of its diploma programs and higher education degrees.

“UniSZA adheres strictly to the governance and standards set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and the Ministry of Higher Education. We are also subject to regular audits by accredited academic and professional bodies to ensure the high quality of our education and graduates,” the statement read.

UniSZA announced that it will pursue legal action to defend its reputation against the spread of false information. The university has also filed a police report regarding the matter.

“The public is urged to verify the authenticity of information on social media before making any comments that could lead to further misinformation,” the statement continued. “UniSZA remains dedicated to protecting the reputation of Malaysian higher education institutions and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws.”
