Anwar expresses appreciation for Zuki’s service in the public sector

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed his appreciation to Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali, who retired as the Chief Secretary to the Government today.

He thanked Zuki for his service and dedication to the public sector over the past 32 years.

“Thank you, and may you continue to succeed in your future endeavors and be blessed by the Almighty,” he said on his Facebook page.

At the same time, Anwar also wished Datuk Seri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar success as he prepares to take on the role of Chief Secretary to the Government starting next Monday.

He stated that government policies will continue to be implemented efficiently and effectively.

“Indeed, this contributes to the development and success of the nation,” he said.

Zuki, 62, first took office as the Chief Secretary on December 31, 2019, and was reappointed on a contract basis for two years, effective from August 11, 2022, to August 10, 2024.
