RIYADH, Sept 15 (VoM): Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held high-level talks with regional leaders on the sidelines of the extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, where discussions focused on Israel’s recent strike on Hamas leaders in the Qatari capital.

The Israeli attack, which killed six people, has drawn widespread condemnation, including from U.S. President Donald Trump. Hamas confirmed that its top officials survived the strike.

During the summit, Crown Prince Mohammed met with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The talks centered on regional security and collective responses to Israeli aggression.

The crown prince also led the Saudi delegation to an extraordinary session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), convened alongside the Arab-Islamic Summit.

Following the conclusion of the summits, Prince Mohammed sent a cable of gratitude to the Emir of Qatar, praising the outcomes of the meetings.

“We commend the outcomes of the extraordinary session of the Supreme Council of the GCC and the emergency Arab-Islamic Summit,” the message stated. “These summits affirmed the support of all participating countries for Qatar in confronting the brutal aggression against it and our absolute rejection of any violation of the principles of international law and norms.”

The summits, hosted in Doha, brought together Arab and Islamic leaders to coordinate a unified response to Israel’s actions and reaffirm solidarity with Qatar amid escalating regional tensions.
