Queen, and the King all agree that the Aidilfitri circumcision prayer will be held at the Federal Territory Mosque

The Sultan Ibrahim, who is the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, and the Queen Mother Raja Zarith Sofiah decided today to pray the Aidilfitri sunnah at this mosque.
The prime minister was with Their Majesties when they left. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and the wife is Datuk Seri Dr. Saizah Wan Ismail.

Minister of Health Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad will be there.

Datuk Dr. Sirajuddin Suhaimee, who is responsible for the Islamic Development Department in Malaysia, was also there.
The Mufti of the Federal Territories, Datuk Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luqman Abdullah, led the delegation.

There was no Aidilfitri sunnah prayer at the Federal Territory Mosque before this. It was the first time Sultan Ibrahim did it since becoming the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong on January 31, 2018.

Their Majesties also listened to a sermon by Luqman called “Peace in the Embrace of Syawal” after leading the prayer.

He also shook hands with the travelers before leaving around 9 a.m. for home.
While this was going on, Luqman was preaching and telling Muslims to use the blessings of Aidilfitri to make family, society, and Muslim ties better with each other.

The celebration of Aidilfitri should be used to keep good values alive in everyday life and encourage people to be more open and forgiving with each other.
