PKS Candidate Dusi Gingging Collapses During Nomination Process

KOTA KINABALU, Nov 15: Parti Kebangsaan Sabah (PKS) candidate for the Kiulu state seat, Dusi Gingging, collapsed during the nomination process for the upcoming Sabah State Election at Dewan Seri Sulaman, Tuaran, on Saturday morning.

Dusi is believed to have fainted shortly after arriving at the nomination center around 7.30am.

Candidates from rival parties, including Barisan Nasional’s Dr. Shahnon Rizal Thaijuddin (Sulaman candidate) and Warisan’s Lee Han Kyun, also known as Joseph Lee (Kiulu candidate), immediately rushed to help him while waiting for medical personnel to arrive.

Despite the incident, Dusi’s nomination papers were successfully submitted by a representative on his behalf.

He was later transported to Tuaran Hospital in an ambulance for further medical attention. His current condition has not yet been disclosed.

The nomination process continued as scheduled following the incident.
