Saudi Ambassador Visits Saudi Pavilion at Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2026, Highlights Cultural Growth Under Vision 2030

KUALA LUMPUR: Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Malaysia, Osamah Al-Ahmadi, visited the Saudi pavilion at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2026, currently being held at the World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

The Kingdom’s participation in the fair is organised by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission. The event runs from May 29 to June 7, 2026, showcasing a wide range of cultural, literary, and publishing initiatives.

During the visit, Ambassador Al-Ahmadi toured the pavilion and reviewed its exhibits, which highlight the richness and diversity of Saudi Arabia’s cultural landscape, as well as ongoing literary and creative developments in the Kingdom.

The visit was also attended by the CEO of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, Dr Abdullatif Alwasel.

Officials said the pavilion reflects Saudi Arabia’s growing cultural dynamism and its efforts to strengthen international cultural exchange in line with Vision 2030.

The exhibition continues to serve as a platform to promote Saudi literature, creativity, and publishing talent to an international audience.
