Thousands Gather at Prophet’s Mosque for Aidiladha Prayers in Spirit of Unity and Devotion
MADINAH : Thousands of worshippers gathered at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi on Wednesday to perform the Aidiladha prayers in an atmosphere filled with deep spirituality and devotion, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The sermon was delivered by Imam and Khatib of the Prophet’s Mosque, Ahmed Al-Hudhaifi, who began by praising and glorifying Allah SWT while extending Aidiladha greetings to Muslims around the world.
He also prayed that the good deeds and acts of worship performed by Muslims would be accepted and continuously blessed by Allah SWT.
In his sermon, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Hudhaifi stressed that Aidiladha serves as an important opportunity to strengthen bonds of love, unity and solidarity among Muslims.
He encouraged Muslims to work together in performing good deeds and prayed for continued peace, stability and prosperity for nations across the Muslim world.
The imam also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to safeguarding the Two Holy Mosques and ensuring the wellbeing of visitors and pilgrims.
He praised the efforts of the Saudi leadership in providing comfort, safety and security for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, enabling them to perform their religious duties peacefully and smoothly.
