KUALA LUMPUR:A cordial and meaningful meeting was held between Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) chairman Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, reflecting political maturity and a strong commitment to national stability.

The discussion, held in a spirit of harmony and solidarity, underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Federal Government and the Sabah State Government.
Zahid emphasized that political stability is a vital foundation for advancing Malaysia’s development agenda and ensuring the well-being of its people. He said close collaboration between federal and state leaders is essential to delivering inclusive progress that meets the aspirations of all Malaysians.
“This spirit of consensus must remain the basis of stronger national unity, paving the way for a progressive, just, and prosperous Malaysia,” Zahid said following the meeting.
The dialogue between BN and GRS leadership is seen as a step towards enhancing federal–state relations, particularly in addressing Sabah’s development priorities while reinforcing the nation’s overall unity.
