This morning, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet came to Kuala Lumpur to attend the 46th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, which start tomorrow at the KLCC.
The special plane with the prime minister, his wife Pich Chanmony, and his group landed at 4.36 pm at the Bunga Raya Complex at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan was happy to see Hun Manet.
When Hun Manet got there, he looked over a guard of honor made up of 28 officers and soldiers from the First Battalion Royal Ranger Regiment (Ceremonial), who were led by Capt. J. Lingesri Rao.
Along with the 46th ASEAN Summit, there will be two other important high-level talks on May 26 and 27: the 2nd ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit and the 1st ASEAN-GCC-China Summit.
The 46th ASEAN Summit, with the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability” for Malaysia’s ASEAN 2025 Chairmanship, will bring together leaders from ASEAN member states to discuss problems in the area and plan how ASEAN will work together in the future.
