Police awaiting post-mortem report for Nur Farah Kartini’s murder case

PETALING JAYA: Authorities are still waiting for the finalized post-mortem report to determine the cause of death for Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah, who was murdered.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan stated that the full report from the forensic department at Sungai Buloh Hospital has not yet been received.

“We are still awaiting the post-mortem report from the hospital,” he told reporters after overseeing the disposal of case items at the Ara Damansara police station on Wednesday.

Nur Farah Kartini was reported missing on July 11. She had been delivering a rental car to a customer in a residential area in Tanjung Malim around 8 a.m. on July 10 and was last seen leaving in a red car after completing the delivery.

Her body was discovered near Felda Gedangsa in Hulu Selangor at around 6 p.m. on July 15.

A police lance corporal, Muhammad Alif Monjani, 26, has been arrested and charged with the murder at the Kuala Kubu Baru magistrate’s court.
