Mangala Kali, Missing After Last Seen in Kelana Jaya

PETALING JAYA: Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old girl who was reported missing after she was last seen at her home in Kelana Jaya here yesterday.

Petaling Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsudin Mamat said police received a missing person report at 8.28pm yesterday.

He said the missing teenager, identified as Mangala Kali Vikneswaran, was last seen at her home in Jalan SS 5B/1, Kelana Jaya, Selangor, at about 5.45am on the same day.

“Anyone with information regarding the missing person is urged to come forward at the nearest police station or contact the Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters Operations Room directly,” he said in a statement today.

He said Mangala Kali is about 157 centimetres tall, has a medium-brown complexion, straight chest-length hair and a slim build. When last seen, she was believed to be wearing a secondary school pinafore uniform.
