Ling said Johor Baru currently has seven dengue hotspots, including Bandar, Jelutong, Plentong, Pulai, Sungai Tiram, Tebrau, and Tanjung Kupang in Gelang Patah. Batu Pahat has 14 hotspots, among them Bagan, Chaah Baru, Kampung Bahru, Linau, Lubok, Minyak Beku, Peserai, Simpang Kanan, Simpang Kiri, Sri Gading, Sri Medan, Sungai Kluang, Sungai Punggor, and Tanjung Sembrong.
