Two Foreign Nationals Arrested for Fighting and Impersonating Civil Servants in Selangor

KUALA LUMPUR||June 29: Police have arrested two foreign men for allegedly engaging in a public altercation and impersonating civil servants in an incident that took place at Jalan Dinar, Taman Subang Perdana, Kampung Baru Subang, Selangor, yesterday.

Sungai Buloh District Police Chief Supt. Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said his department received a distress call about the fight at approximately 1.15 p.m., after which a patrol team was immediately dispatched to the location.

“Upon arriving at the scene, police arrested two foreign nationals, aged 26 and 32, who were believed to be involved in the physical altercation,” he said in a statement today.

Initial investigations revealed that the two individuals, who are known to be friends, were arguing over a family-related issue before the dispute turned violent.

During the arrest, police also seized two Perodua vehicles and a pair of handcuffs believed to have been used during the incident.

The case is currently being investigated under Section 160 of the Penal Code for causing public disturbance, Section 170 for impersonating a public servant, and Section 89 of the Police Act 1967 for illegal possession of police-related equipment.

Authorities have not disclosed the nationalities of the suspects, and further investigations are ongoing.
