The governor of Madinah, Prince Salman bin Sultan, went to the beginning of the second Umrah and Ziyarah Forum, which was put together by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
In his speech, Prince Salman talked about how the Saudi government pays special attention to Makkah and Madinah. He also discussed the current building and development projects that show how important these places are religiously, culturally, and historically.
The Saudi Press Agency said that the three-day event is being held in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program and has the theme “Enriching the Experience of Umrah Performers and Visitors.”
As a way to show their dedication to Islam, Prince Salman made sure that the leaders ensured that travelers were safe, comfortable, and secure.
He also discussed improvements that could be made to the Prophet’s Mosque and other nearby historic sites to help tourists feel more connected to God and have a better time.
With more than 150 booths from over 100 countries, the meeting is being held at the King Salman International Convention Center until April 16.
Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said that serving the two holy mosques and their visitors is still a top concern for the leadership. He also said that it was easy for well over 122 million people to do Umrah during Ramadan.
The forum has more than 50 workshops and dialogue sessions with more than 100 speakers. There are also many agreements being signed between service providers, all of which are meant to improve the general experience of people performing and visiting Umrah.
Its goal is to set new standards for Umrah and visitor services by using new technology, going digital, and investing in the field in a way that will last.
An interactive exhibition shows new technical services and solutions, and workshops bring together experts and decision-makers to talk about growth possibilities and show off cutting-edge solutions that will make the pilgrim experience better and the sector more efficient overall.
