Economy Ministry to launch ‘Madani Mendengar’ tour

KUALA LUMPUR: To ensure that the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13) reflects the aspirations of all Malaysians, the Ministry of Economy will launch the ‘Madani Mendengar’ tour, said Minister of Economy Rafizi Ramli.

According to the Wilayahku portal, he stated that the tour is an initiative to gather input from public think tanks, private sector representatives, and ordinary citizens across the country.

“This tour will be held in all 13 states and three Federal Territories to ensure everyone has the opportunity to voice their concerns, opinions, and suggestions to help shape the country’s future.

“‘Madani Mendengar’ will be a platform to ensure that all voices are heard, guiding the reform process and ensuring that policy formulation aligns with the actual needs of the people,” he said.

He made these remarks during a press briefing after attending the RMK13 Inception Conference.

RMK13 will cover the economic planning period from 2026 to 2030.

In addition, Rafizi mentioned that views can also be submitted through the newly launched RMK13 portal at https://rmk13.ekonomi.gov.my.

“I urge all citizens to actively participate in this process. The success of RMK13 depends on a whole-of-nation approach,” he said.
