Helicopter Crash: Captain Zainol Afiq’s Remains to Be Brought Home, Burial Tomorrow

SEREMBAN: The remains of the late Captain Zainol Afiq Bee Sham, 31, are expected to be brought home to Negeri Sembilan for burial tomorrow.

His father, Bee Sham Ahmad, 59, said the family was still awaiting a decision and confirmation from the hospital, police and relevant agencies.

“The family is currently waiting for a briefing from the relevant agencies regarding the arrangements to bring his remains home. We do not yet know whether the flight will be in the morning or at night.

“At the same time, the family is awaiting the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) test results.

“If everything is completed, his remains will be brought home tomorrow, and all the necessary preparations have already been made,” he said when contacted.

He said that upon arrival in Seremban, the remains would be taken directly to the Bandar Baru Senawang Mosque before burial at the Forest Heights Muslim Cemetery in Senawang.
