KUALA LUMPUR: President of United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, chaired a meeting of the party’s Supreme Council (Majlis Kerja Tertinggi UMNO) at Menara Dato’ Onn, World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), on Tuesday night.

The meeting brought together senior party leaders and Supreme Council members to discuss organizational matters, current political developments and issues related to the party’s direction and preparations for upcoming initiatives.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister, arrived at the venue ahead of the meeting and was welcomed by party officials and members.
The Supreme Council serves as UMNO’s highest decision-making body and plays a key role in formulating party policies, strengthening organizational strategies and addressing national issues affecting the party and its members.
The meeting was held at Menara Dato’ Onn, the headquarters of UMNO, located within the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, where party leaders regularly convene to deliberate on matters concerning the organization and the country’s political landscape.
The gathering reflected UMNO’s continued efforts to consolidate its leadership and strengthen coordination within the party as it navigates current political and governance challenges.
