Amanah Supports Peaceful Assemblies, As Long as They Follow the Law — Adly Zahari

SEMENYIH— Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) Vice President Datuk Adly Zahari reaffirmed that the party remains consistent in supporting peaceful assemblies, as long as they are held in accordance with the law and uphold the principles of peace.

He said Amanah has never silenced the people’s voices, especially when it comes to issues of humanity and global peace.

“Amanah allows peaceful gatherings, particularly when they concern Palestine, humanitarian causes, or global peace. What’s important is that the assembly is conducted peacefully,” he said.

According to Adly, any individual or group wishing to organize or participate in such gatherings must comply with existing laws to ensure public safety and protect national property.

“Anyone has the right to speak out, but it must be done within the law. We must safeguard peace and political freedom responsibly, because ultimately, public funds are used to maintain security and stability,” he added.

He was speaking at the Amanah Youth National Convention 2025, held at C360, Setia Ecohill, Semenyih, Kajang, today.

Adly, who also serves as the Deputy Defence Minister, urged young people to continue playing an active and responsible role as the voice of the community.
