Courtesy Visit by KPDN Enforcement Division to AKPS Director-General

PUTRAJAYA, Sept 10 (VoM): The Director-General of the Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS), YDH CP Dato’ Sri Mohd Shuhaily bin Mohd Zain, today received a courtesy visit from the Enforcement Division of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN).

The meeting provided both parties with the opportunity to discuss strategic cooperation in enforcement, information sharing, and the conduct of joint operations aimed at strengthening the nation’s border security.

Discussions also underscored the importance of synergy between AKPS and KPDN in curbing smuggling activities, ensuring smooth trade flows, and safeguarding both consumer interests and national security.

AKPS expressed appreciation to the KPDN Enforcement Division for making time for the courtesy call, while both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing collaboration to ensure the safety and well-being of the country.
