According to the Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and regional developments of mutual concern. Both ministers also reviewed Saudi-Iraqi bilateral relations and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation.

Earlier in the OIC meeting, Prince Faisal reiterated Saudi Arabia’s position that Israel’s continued violations in Gaza were undermining international efforts to achieve a two-state solution, stressing the urgent need for collective action to protect civilians and ensure lasting peace.
