UPNM organizes an Industrial Collaboration Programme (ICP) to drive economic growth

KUALA LUMPUR: The Collab sphere forum was organized by the National Defence University of Malaysia (UPNM) in collaboration with other industry stakeholders. The Industrial Collaboration Programme (ICP) is the government’s value-added approach to boosting economic expansion in the nation.

The forum was hosted here at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in collaboration with the defence Services Asia (DSA) and National Security Exhibition (NATSEC) Asia 2024.

Addressing a distinguished audience including Lieutenant General Datuk Mardzuki Muhammad, Vice Chancellor of the National Defence University of Malaysia, along with esteemed guests and participants, Professor Azlinda expressed her gratitude to the organizers for convening the significant event.

According to Prof. Dr. Azlinda Azman, Director General of Higher Education, she underscored the importance of forging partnerships between academia and industry, highlighting their collective potential to address complex challenges, drive innovation, and nurture talent poised to thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

 

 

The university prioritises economic considerations while also working to foster academic innovation and achievement, as stated by Lieutenant General Datuk Mardzuki Muhammad.

“ICP provides a forum for us to discuss how the ICP policy has changed throughout time, as well as how it may affect and influence the field of exceptional education.

“At the same time, this forum strives to create synergy between academia and industry to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, resources and expertise possessed by each industry involved,” he stated in his speech today.
