SNT Group Malaysia Donates 120 Laptops to PERKEP Members’ Children in Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA: SNT Group Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. has donated 120 laptops to children of members of the Police Family Association (PERKEP) at the Putrajaya District Police Headquarters (IPD) to support their education and improve access to digital learning.

PERKEP Putrajaya chairperson Nor Laila Mohd Hanifa said the contribution is expected to help the children of police personnel leverage technology to enhance their academic performance while easing the financial burden on their families.

She said this during the SPM Excellence Recognition and Laptop/Tablet Contribution Programme for PERKEP members’ children at the lobby of IPD Putrajaya today.

The programme was organised as part of SNT Group Malaysia’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative in collaboration with IPD Putrajaya.

The programme was attended by Putrajaya District Police Chief ACP Aidi Sham Mohamed and PERKEP IPD Putrajaya secretary ASP Ilham Ruqaiyah Hamid, alongside representatives from SNT Group Malaysia, PERKEP members and invited guests.

SNT Group Malaysia chairman Prof. Datuk Seri Dr. Azizul Rahim Saedin, in his speech, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to empowering students through education and digital technology.

The event also featured presentations on educational opportunities and future development initiatives before the laptops were presented to the recipients, followed by a souvenir exchange and a group photo session.

The initiative highlights the importance of strategic collaboration between the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the private sector in advancing education, community development and the welfare of police families.
