KUALA LUMPUR: The Putrajaya Royal Floria Festival 2024 has recorded over 800,000 visitors during its 13th edition, said Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories).

According to the Wilayahku portal, she stated that the 11-day festival concluded yesterday.

On the same day, she also officiated the closing ceremony of the Putrajaya Royal Floria Festival 2024.

She mentioned that the festival was part of efforts to support sustainability in tourism, socio-economics, and the environment.

“This is one of the six main focuses in the Sejahtera@WP cluster,” she said on Facebook.

Meanwhile, Zaliha noted that the event also celebrated the winners of the garden competition, which involved 30 government agencies and corporate companies competing in various award categories.

“Congratulations to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) for winning the Floria Garden Prime Award 2024 and the Floria Most People’s Choice Garden Award this year.

“This success indirectly reflects DBKL’s efforts to enhance and showcase flora and fauna not only in Kuala Lumpur but also in Putrajaya,” she said.
