Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim Visits Fauzi Abdul Rahman in Hospital After Mild Stroke

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, accompanied by Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, visited Fauzi Abdul Rahman at the Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), where he is currently receiving treatment after suffering a minor stroke.

The visit was made public through a statement expressing gratitude for the leaders’ presence and concern during what the family described as a challenging time.

Family members said Fauzi Abdul Rahman is currently under medical care following the medical episode, and the condition has required hospitalisation for further monitoring and treatment.

The presence of the prime minister and Wan Azizah was described as meaningful and uplifting, providing moral support and strength to the family during his recovery process.

The family also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the visit, saying it brought comfort and encouragement during this period of illness.

Separately, the family noted that despite being in Makkah, prayers continue for Fauzi Abdul Rahman’s recovery, asking for his complete healing, strength, and continued well-being.
