RIYADH, Sept 15 (VoM):The Gulf Research Center (GRC) convened a high-level roundtable discussion in Riyadh on Sunday, focusing on the future of Saudi-German relations.
The session, titled “Saudi-German Relations,” was attended by Dr. Geza Andreas von Geyr, State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, together with his accompanying delegation. A number of regional experts, scholars, and policymakers also took part in the discussion.
The roundtable provided a platform to explore opportunities for deeper political, economic, and cultural cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Germany. Participants exchanged views on strengthening bilateral ties, addressing global challenges, and enhancing collaboration in fields such as trade, investment, renewable energy, and regional security.
The Gulf Research Center emphasized the importance of such dialogues in fostering mutual understanding and building stronger international partnerships.
The meeting highlighted Riyadh’s growing role as a hub for global diplomatic engagement, while underscoring Berlin’s interest in expanding its presence and cooperation within the Gulf region.
