Cik Man Critical, Sedated Due to Blocked Heart Arteries

PETALING JAYA: Due to blocked heart arteries, actor Kamarool Haji Yusoff, or Cik Man, had to be sedated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Tanah Merah Hospital, Kelantan, since yesterday.

The news was shared by his friend, Amir Raja Lawak, who informed that the Rock Oo actor is now in critical condition.

“Assalamualaikum. It is informed that Cik Man was admitted to Tanah Merah Hospital at midnight last night.

“His current condition is critical because his heart arteries are blocked and he has now been sedated for him to rest while doctors carry out treatment,” he wrote via a Facebook post.

However, Amir informed that the hospital does not allow any visits, while hoping that the public will pray for Cik Man’s health.

“For now, visits are not allowed.

“If there are any developments, God willing, I will inform as well. Pray for all the best for Cik Man.

“May Allah make Cik Man’s treatment easy and smooth, may Cik Man recover quickly and return to health as before, Amin Ya Mujib Ya Rabbal Alamin,” he said.

Previously, Cik Man had shared that he would travel back and forth from his residence in Kelantan to Kuala Lumpur if there were filming commitments.

Cik Man, who was popular among fans in the 1980s, has now become even more well‑known after starring in the film Rock Oo directed by the late Mamat Khalid.
