Car fire near Sri Petaling LRT station

KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur Operations Center received an emergency call regarding a car fire at 12:17 PM, subsequently dispatching units to the scene.

The operation team from the Bukit Jalil Fire and Rescue Station, along with the FRT-1 unit, responded with a total of six personnel.

According to Operation Commander PBK II Mohd Khairuddin Abdurrahman, upon arrival at the location, the team found that the fire involved a hybrid BMW i8.

The fire was successfully controlled by 12:29 PM.

The estimated damage from the fire is 100%.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the forensic unit.
