Iran’s Top General Vows Relentless Strikes Until Netanyahu Is “Brought to His Knees”

Tehran, June 23 — Iran’s highest-ranking military official has pledged ongoing and forceful military operations against Israel, declaring that the campaign will continue until Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is brought to “utter helplessness.”

In a video address delivered Monday following the launch of the 21st phase of Operation True Promise III, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, vowed that retaliatory strikes would remain uninterrupted in the face of what he called criminal acts by the Israeli regime and the United States.

“The operations will not stop until Netanyahu is brought to his knees,” said General Mousavi. “The crimes committed by the Zionist regime and its American allies will not go unanswered, regardless of the extent of destruction they cause.”

The general’s statement came in response to a direct U.S. military strike on Sunday, which reportedly targeted three nuclear sites in Iran — Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow — in what Iranian officials condemned as a brazen act of aggression and a violation of international law.

Mousavi accused former U.S. President Donald Trump of orchestrating the strike as a “desperate effort” to prop up a collapsing Israeli leadership. “Trump, having witnessed Netanyahu’s collapse under the weight of defeat, decided to give him artificial respiration through this reckless act,” he said.

The U.S. airstrikes have drawn sharp criticism globally, particularly from Iran, which maintains that its nuclear program is peaceful and that the attacks on its facilities are unjustified provocations.

Meanwhile, Iranian forces have continued their retaliatory campaign against Israel under the banner of Operation True Promise III. Iranian military sources claim to have inflicted “heavy blows” to Israeli military infrastructure over the past 72 hours.

Tensions remain high across the region, with both Tehran and Washington trading warnings over further escalations. Iranian officials have repeatedly stressed that the American attack “will not go unpunished.”

The situation marks one of the most intense escalations in the Iran-Israel conflict in recent years, with the added volatility of direct U.S. involvement threatening to widen the scope of confrontation.
