Israeli attacks on Gaza kill at least 38 Palestinians, some of them children
Israel has killed at least 38 Palestinians, some of them children, in bombings in different parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.
On Wednesday, Israeli warplanes attacked a home in the Shujaiyya area, which is in the eastern part of Gaza City. Israeli warplanes killed almost 30 Palestinians.
The attack on a building with several floors also injured dozens of people.
Separate Israeli military attacks on other parts of the besieged Palestinian area claimed the lives of nine more Palestinians, according to local health officials. The incident brought the total number of deaths on Wednesday to 38.
Israeli planes also bombed the Nuseirat refugee camp in the middle of Gaza.
Some news sources claim that at least 80 Palestinians are missing.
According to the Israeli forces, 45 targets in Gaza have been hit by airstrikes in the past 24 hours.
The Palestinian rebel group Hamas condemned the killings in Shujaiyya.
Israel was killing many people in Gaza, and Hamas blamed the US for it.
“The fact that the US government is fully behind these ongoing massacres against our defenseless people is a shameful stain on the international community, which is doing nothing to stop one of the worst cases of mass murder and organized genocide in history.”
Hamas even criticized comments made by some Arab countries about the situation in Gaza.
“The leaders of Arab and Islamic countries need to take their historical and humanitarian duties very seriously. They need to act right away to put pressure on the occupation and its backers in Washington to stop the aggression, lift the siege, and hold the Zionist war criminals responsible for their actions.”
On a world level, Hamas also called for ending all ties with Israel.
“In solidarity with the innocent Palestinian people who are living through a brutal Zionist genocide, we call on countries that still have ties with the criminal Zionist occupation to cut those ties and close their embassies.”
“These awful public crimes against innocent, defenseless civilians, which are meant to kill them and get revenge, will not be ignored or forgotten.”

Health care services in Gaza are in terrible shape. Gaza’s health ministry says that kids who aren’t getting enough food could have serious health problems.
After a two-month break, Israel started its campaign of murder in Gaza again on March 18 and sent troops back into the Palestinian area that was blocked off. The health ministry in Gaza says that Israeli airstrikes have killed almost 1,500 Palestinians in the three weeks since then.
Since the end of March, Israel has asked Gazans to leave the land around the edges of the strip to make what it calls a “security zone.” People who live there think the goal is to forever remove them from large areas of land.
Netanyahu has promised to step up the attacks as part of a larger plan that aligns with the plan of US President Donald Trump to move Palestinians out of Gaza against their will.
