A nine-year-old Seri Kembangan girl is kidnapped, and a foreign suspect is apprehended

Police have detained a foreign national who kidnapped a nine-year-old girl in the nearby Seri Kembangan.
According to Serdang police commander ACP AA Anbalagan, the girl was playing with a few pals close to her father’s place of employment on Friday, September 21, at 11 p.m.
He asserted that the victim’s father immediately filed a police report after learning that a man had abducted his daughter.
He announced this late on Saturday, September 21. “A 35-year-old man was arrested shortly after,” the statement read.
According to Anbalagan, investigations showed the suspect lacked legitimate travel documentation and was in possession of pornographic material.

Sections 363 and 292 of the Penal Code, the Immigration Act, and Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act have placed the suspect under remand for a period of seven days to facilitate the investigation.
