KUALA LUMPUR:Veteran comedian Sathiya is reported to be in stable condition and is anticipated to be discharged from Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) today, following a minor stroke.
According to a report by Berita Harian, the 60-year-old actor was taken to a local clinic in Setapak yesterday after experiencing numbness in his arm and leg. The report also noted that Sathiya’s eldest daughter, Vickynesawwry Nayar, 34, mentioned that her father had also lost his balance while having breakfast the same day.
“Given his history of a previous mild stroke, we were quite alarmed and quickly brought him to a nearby clinic. There, the medical team diagnosed him with hypotension,” she said. “He was promptly transferred to HKL, where he was taken to the Red Zone upon arrival. Thankfully, he is now stable and is expected to be discharged today.”
