KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actor Fattah Amin shared happy news when his wife, Nadia Amira Othman, safely delivered their child yesterday.

The announcement was posted by Fattah on social media, which subsequently received congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities.

In the post, Fattah informed that their baby boy was born at around 6.20 p.m. and was given the name Muhammad Jarir Umar bin Abdul Fattah.

“Ahlan Wasahlan Muhammad Jarir Umar bin Abdul Fattah. Alhamdulillah, my wife Nadia Amira binti Othman safely delivered our baby at 6.20 p.m. yesterday.

“Thank you to everyone who prayed for us. May Jarir grow up to be a righteous child and a comfort to mommy and daddy’s hearts,” he wrote.

The post was also accompanied by elements of prayer and gratitude, reflecting the couple’s joy over the birth of their child.

Fattah was previously married to actress Nur Fazura in 2017, but the couple divorced in 2024.

From that first marriage, they were blessed with a daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya.
