PUTRAJAYA: A total of 96,013 Form Six students, comprising both new and existing students, have received and will receive the 2026 Early School Assistance (BAP), with a total allocation of RM14.4 million, according to the Ministry of Education (MOE).
In a statement today, the MOE informed that this year, 52,810 new Form Six students at 616 Form Six Centres (PTE) nationwide will receive BAP worth RM150 each.
“The distribution of BAP to new Form Six students is carried out by PTE from 28 June to 27 July.
“The MOE continues the implementation of BAP distribution to new Form Six students who registered on 8 June, in line with the approval of the expansion of BAP provision to Form Six students since last year,” the statement read.
The MOE informed that the expansion of BAP provision reflects the MADANI Government’s concern in easing the financial burden of parents and guardians in preparing school necessities.
“This initiative also proves the government’s firm commitment to continue empowering Form Six education,” the statement added.
