“Women: The Indispensable Strength of Family, Society, and the Nation”: PM Anwar

Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has highlighted that women are the strength behind families, the foundation of society, and the driving force of national progress. He emphasized that behind every well-organized family and prosperous community lies the sacrifice, patience, and wisdom of women, who tirelessly give love and care to build a better future.

On a personal note, the Prime Minister expressed deep appreciation for the women in his own life, particularly Azizah and his children, who have always been sources of strength, patience, and support throughout his journey.

He further acknowledged that this strength is reflected across millions of women nationwide, mothers, wives, daughters, educators, caregivers, and community leaders, who quietly strive every day for their families and beloved country.

On this International Women’s Day, the Prime Minister called on everyone to honor the invaluable contributions of women, ensure their respect, empower them, and provide equal opportunities for their participation in the nation’s development.

He concluded, “Indeed, women are the strength, hope, and future of the nation.”
