Trump Dismisses Epstein Files as “Democrat Hoax”

WASHINGTON: Former U.S. President Donald Trump has once again rejected claims linking him to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, calling the release of related files a partisan fabrication.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Trump said, “Give them everything you can give them, because it’s a Democrat hoax. It’s just a hoax. The whole Epstein thing is a Democrat hoax.”

Trump has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing or involvement with Epstein, the disgraced financier who died in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Despite photographs and past social interactions between the two, Trump insists that efforts to connect him to Epstein’s crimes are politically motivated attempts to discredit him during his presidential campaign.

The remarks come as renewed public attention focuses on unsealed court documents related to Epstein’s network. Democrats have urged further investigations, while Trump’s allies argue that the controversy is being used to damage his political standing.
