Thunderstorms Expected Across Six Malaysian States Until 6PM Saturday Met Malaysia

 Kuala Lumpur, October 25: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to lash several parts of Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak, and Sabah until 6PM today (Saturday, Oct 25), according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

In a statement issued at 3:05PM, MetMalaysia said the affected areas in Kelantan include Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Jeli, and Tanah Merah, while in Terengganu, the weather warning covers Setiu, Kuala Nerus, and Hulu Terengganu.

Meanwhile, in Selangor, thunderstorms are forecast for Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak, and Petaling, as well as parts of the Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory.

Over in Sarawak, the affected regions are Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Kapit (Song), and Bintulu (Bintulu and Sebauh).

In Sabah, Tawau, Kunak, Semporna, and Lahad Datu are expected to experience similar adverse weather conditions.

MetMalaysia advises the public to remain cautious, avoid outdoor activities during thunderstorms, and stay tuned to the latest updates through official channels and the myCuaca app.
