PENANG (VoM): The Chairperson of the Police Family Association (PERKEP) Malaysia, Datin Sri Datuk Hjh. Munirah Che Rose, extended care and support to members of the Penang Police Contingent through the Ziarah Kasih program held this afternoon.

The initiative, part of the Royal Malaysia Police’s ongoing commitment to the welfare of its personnel and their families, began with a visit to the residence of Corporal Roziemma Ab Rahman at the Sungai Dua Police Quarters. A single mother of six school-going children, Corporal Roziemma was commended for her resilience in raising her family.
Datin Sri Munirah also visited Sergeant Nor Farhana Mahmud in Kubang Semang, Bukit Mertajam. A single mother of four, Sergeant Nor Farhana is caring for a child diagnosed with hydranencephaly.
The program concluded with a visit to Puan Nur Balqis Izazi, widow of the late Constable Support Staff Mohamad Haris Izudin Saharudin, who passed away in May. Puan Nur Balqis is now raising their one-month-old baby alone at Taman Sutera Prima, Seberang Jaya.
During the visits, the PERKEP Chairperson presented welfare contributions and offered words of encouragement as a gesture of compassion and solidarity with the affected families.
Accompanying Datin Sri Munirah were the Chairperson of the PERKEP Penang Contingent, Datin Roslina Mohd Razak; Deputy Chairperson Datin Wan Norazah Wanchik; and members of the state contingent.
