Malaysians In Qatar Advised To Stay Safe, Remain Aware Of Surroundings

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians in Qatar have been advised not to let their guard down and to always prioritise safety and remain aware of developments around them, given the continued uncertainty in the Gulf region.

The Malaysian Embassy in Doha informed that for now, embassy operations are running as usual, and it is currently updating information on the whereabouts of Malaysians in Qatar.

“As such, please update your information and that of your family members through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ eKonsular system. If you have not yet registered, please visit the eKonsular portal at: https://ekonsular.kln.gov.my/register,” according to a notice posted on the embassy’s official Facebook page today.

In addition, Malaysians transiting in Qatar are also encouraged to use the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ MyWorldAlert application to enable immediate assistance to be rendered in the event of any emergency.
