PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to strengthening unity and working tirelessly to preserve national harmony, both domestically and on the international stage.

Speaking at the MADANI 2026 Iftar Ceremony organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anwar said unity and collective determination remain the nation’s strongest foundation, especially amid increasingly complex global challenges.

He stressed that a country’s strength should not be measured solely by economic figures or material assets, but by the harmony, shared resolve, and unity of its people in safeguarding lasting peace and stability.

“In today’s increasingly complex global landscape, the strength of a nation lies in the synergy of harmony, unity of purpose, and the solidarity of its people,” he said.

Anwar also highlighted the need for principled and wise global leadership in addressing international crises and humanitarian issues, calling for dialogue, respect for human values, and the rejection of division and conflict.

He expressed hope that the spirit of Ramadan would continue to foster unity and strengthen Malaysia’s determination to build a respected and admired nation on the world stage.

“May this Ramadan nurture togetherness and reinforce our commitment to building a Malaysia that is respected and admired globally,” he added.
