Kajang clean campaign encourages community responsibility

KUALA LUMPUR: The Kajang Clean Campaign, “Kajang In My Heart,” launched yesterday, marks the beginning for all parties to regard personal and environmental cleanliness as a continuous responsibility, said the Prime Minister’s Political Secretary Datuk Azman Abidin.

He stated that cleanliness is a very important element in our lives.

“Indeed, no one likes a dirty environment filled with trash.

“As the saying goes, ‘To bend the bamboo, start with the shoot,'” he wrote on his Facebook page.

He noted that the Member of Parliament for Bandar Tun Razak, Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Dr. Wan Ismail, also attended the launch ceremony of the Kajang Clean Campaign at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Saujana Impian in Kajang, Selangor.

Azman hopes that the campaign will achieve its intended goals and objectives.

He expressed his desire for Kajang to become a clean, comfortable, and safe place to live.
