IRGC Navy Launches Massive Strikes on US and Israeli Targets in 97th Wave of Operation True Promise 4

TEHRAN :  The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced that its naval forces conducted a major combined missile and drone operation against strategic American and Israeli targets on Sunday, marking the 97th wave of Operation True Promise. 4.

According to the IRGC, one of the key targets was a hideout near the Mohammad al-Ahmad naval base in Kuwait used by American commanders and officers. The site was destroyed with precision ballistic missile strikes and coordinated drone attacks. Local reports indicate a heavy concentration of ambulances in the area, suggesting substantial casualties among enemy personnel.

The strikes follow Saturday’s attack on a US command center and training facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which reportedly killed or injured 25 individuals. Additionally, an Israeli commercial vessel in the Jebel Ali Port channel was hit by a naval Qadir cruise missile, resulting in a fire aboard the ship, the IRGC confirmed.

Since Saturday, the IRGC Navy has also been controlling maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, directing unauthorized vessels to the western and eastern anchorages. The IRGC emphasized that oil tankers and commercial vessels in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman must communicate with IRGC Navy stations via international Channel 16 on marine radio and warned crews against following “false news.”

As part of the operation, the IRGC Aerospace Force targeted an Israeli military-affiliated industrial zone in Beersheba, citing it as retaliation for “the atrocities of the brutal Zionist regime” against Iran. On Sunday morning, coordinated strikes by IRGC naval and aerospace units hit enemy targets across the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait in response to US-Israeli attacks on Iranian civilian facilities.

The IRGC stressed that the actions so far represent only part of their response and warned that repeated attacks on civilian infrastructure will trigger an even more intense and expansive phase of operations.

Since the escalation began, 97 waves of missile and drone strikes have been carried out, targeting Israeli military installations in occupied territories as well as US bases and assets throughout the West Asia region, demonstrating continued retaliation by Iranian forces and allied resistance groups.
