Helicopter Carrying Doctor Crashes in Sarawak

PUTRAJAYA: The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has confirmed that a BO-105 helicopter with registration number 9M-LLF crashed near STOLport Long Lellang, Sarawak, today.

CAAM, in a brief statement, said it received notification of the incident at around 3.58 pm this afternoon.

“The helicopter was conducting a Flying Doctor Service flight, carrying five individuals including the pilot.

“The Air Accident Investigation Bureau under the Ministry of Transport will conduct an investigation into the incident in accordance with Part XXVI of the Civil Aviation Regulations 2016,” it said today.
