My Journey: Founder Of Great Bath (Pool and Spa Professional) Rises From a Cheras Youth To Build A Leading Pool Company In Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR – The journey of Nathan, 43, Founder and CEO of Great Bath from Cheras serves as an inspiration as he rises from a modest apartment upbringing to build a leading pool company that involves in as one stop center to all the swimming pool and spa needs.
Their market cover Luxury Homeowner, First Time Pool Buyer, Existing Pool Owners and Commercial Pools Management around Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya and Negeri Sembilan.
Growing up in a multiracial apartment community in Cheras, Mr. Nathan said the environment shaped his early network and gave him the confidence to start his own business.
“My father was my first inspiration. From whom I learned the meaning of honesty, dedication and discipline.
“I grew up in a multiracial community. I got to know many people, and they eventually became my customers when I started the business” he said.
Nathan starts his business as pool operator in 2008, starting from zero without any major capital.
Because of clients continuing support and trust, he starts to focus on the pool construction business and Great Bath was born.
During the covid 19 pandemic, Nathan admitted it was toughest period of his business journey.

Operation is limited; finances were impacted. But we continue our services during pandemic with special permission from the authority.
This was because without proper sanitization to the pool water, the pool water will cause aedes mosquitoes breeding.

Great Bath has 40 staff members and is SSM and CIDB registered, while also being preferred for Developers, Property Management Companies and Luxurious Homeowners.For Nathan, true success is not just about the number of clients but the trust he has built.
“Most of my clients have stayed with me for more than 10 years. It’s not easy to maintain clients that long. Their trust is my success,” he said.
He also emphasized the importance of updating new technologies in pool industries.
He independently purchased reference materials from overseas, attended training and international expos to enhance his technical knowledge and skills.
Beyond business, his company also carries out corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including distribution of hampers during all festivals, sponsorship for sports teams and animal adoption programs.
