PETALING JAYA: The former Chairman of the Tabung Haji (TH) Board is expected to be charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court tomorrow.
Based on a check of the court system, the man will be charged before Judge Azura Alwi at 9 am.
On 26 August, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) detained the man to assist in investigations following issues raised in the Tabung Haji Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) Report.
The detention is related to investigations and issues raised in the RCI report concerning Tabung Haji (TH).
The TH RCI report, which was made public on 29 July, detailed weaknesses in the management and operations of the haj fund for the period between 2014 and 2020.
