Fadhlina Sidek Now Holds Title of Datuk Seri, Ziana Zain Receives Datuk
MELAKA: Education Minister, Datuk Seri Fadhlina Sidek heads the list of 1,328 recipients of the Darjah, Tauliah, Bintang and Pingat Kebesaran Negeri Melaka for 2026 in conjunction with the 77th Birthday Celebration of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Mohd. Ali Mohd. Rustam.
Fadhlina heads the list of 10 recipients of the Darjah Gemilang Seri Melaka (DGSM) which carries the title of Datuk Seri at the ceremony held at Seri Negeri, Ayer Keroh here, today.
State Secretary, Datuk Salhah Salleh said, among the DGSM recipients are the Chief Judge of Malaya, Datuk Seri Hashim Hamzah and the Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Mohd. Khalid Ismail.
“Also receiving the order are the Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air Force, General Tan Sri Muhamad Norazlan Aris; President and Chief Executive Officer of Downstream Petronas, Datuk Seri Sazali Hamzah and President of the Malaysian National Silat Federation (Pesaka) who is also Political Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Megat Zulkarnain Omardin,” she said in a statement today.
Salhah said, at the same ceremony, a total of 56 recipients were conferred the Darjah Cemerlang Seri Melaka (DCSM) which carries the title of Datuk Wira.
She said, among the DCSM recipients are Benut State Assemblyman (ADUN), Datuk Mohd. Sumali Reduan; Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Datuk M. Kumar; Director-General of the National Solid Waste Management Department, Datuk Dr. Mohd. Azhar Abd. Hamin and Melaka Police Chief, Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar.
She said, meanwhile, a total of 14 individuals received the Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM) which carries the title of Datuk, among them the Deputy Speaker of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (DUN), Datuk Al Hambra Juhar; High Court Judge, Datuk Suria Kumar Durairaj Johnson Paul and Commander of the Third Malaysian Infantry Division, Major General Datuk Sani S. Omar.
“For the Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka (DPSM) category which carries the title of Datuk, a total of 189 individuals received the award, among them the country’s renowned singer, Datuk Siti Roziana Zain or better known as Ziana Zain,” she said.
According to her, also receiving the DPSM are the Director-General of Broadcasting, Datuk Ashwad Ismail and the Group News Editor and Director of the Television Network (News and Current Affairs Group), Datuk Azhari Muhidin.
Overall, a total of 1,328 recipients received the state honours, awards, stars and medals for this year, which took place in three sessions on August 24 and 26.
The conferment also involved five recipients of the Jaksa Pendamai, 106 recipients of the Darjah Seri Melaka (DSM), 151 recipients of the Bintang Cemerlang Melaka (BCM), 244 recipients of the Bintang Khidmat Terpuji, 386 recipients of the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK), 161 recipients of the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat (PBM) and five recipients of the Pingat Khidmat Lama (PKL).
