Didi Astillah Chooses Ashura Day to Become a Wife

KUALA LUMPUR – Actress and singer Didi Astillah is now officially the wife of her chosen one, Muhammad Nur Fiqrat Ismat Diniey, with a single vow today, six months after getting engaged.

The couple, who chose to tie the knot on Ashura Day, were solemnised by marriage officiant Ustaz Mohammad Nazri.

At the all-white themed ceremony, Didi, whose full name is Dayang Nazilah Awang Astillah, 29, received a dowry of RM300 as a symbolic union of their marriage.

The bride’s side received seven trays of gifts, reciprocating with five trays to the groom’s side.

Also present to enliven the occasion was Muar Member of Parliament, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who is the fiancé of Didi’s sister, Bella Astillah.

Previously, the singer of the song Fikirkan Kamu received a surprise proposal from Diniey during the 2026 New Year’s celebration.

On 11 January, they finally got engaged in a private ceremony held at a luxury hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
