KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27: Heads of state and government from across Southeast Asia gathered for a family photo during the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) today, symbolizing unity and shared purpose among member nations.
Among those present were Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, Timor-Leste Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, alongside Myanmar Foreign Ministry’s Permanent Secretary U Hau Khan Sum, who represented Myanmar.
Also seen in the official photograph were Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Sultan of Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, and Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
The leaders’ gathering marked one of the highlights of the summit, underscoring ASEAN’s spirit of cooperation and solidarity amid global challenges.
