Anwar reminds civil servants to leave bad practices
PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim reminded civil servants to continue to practice best practices and leave bad things in the service.
According to Astro Awani, he said that a small number of people have tarnished the name of civil servants included in the national system that hinders the speed of the country in driving growth to save the politics of the nation and the country.
“Have the determination to believe that there is a time in history where we are given an opportunity if we don’t do it, maybe we will be hindered and go back decades.
“We are actually able to drive better growth but we are a bit behind. In the education system, health, administrative regulations, in policies, now we are introducing new policies, energy transition, digital transformation.
“Even if we don’t ensure the level of speed, we will be left behind because other countries will not wait for us,” he said.
He said this while speaking at the MADANI Aspiration Gathering of Public Service Mentoring Friends (AKRAB) here today.
In the meantime, he also urged civil servants to make the move, driving the country’s growth with the government continuing to focus on implementing efforts to empower the welfare of civil servants.
