‘Alhamdulillah Hajj Complete, Home is Not Perfect Without Lisa’
PETALING JAYA – After more than a month in the holy land of Mecca to perform the Hajj, Datin Lisa Surihani has safely returned to her home country today.
Her arrival was met with a joyous reception from her husband, Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim, and their children at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1.
As soon as the woman with the full name Lisa Surihani Mohamed, 40, appeared at the exit from the arrival hall, her three beloved children ran and immediately hugged her.
Meanwhile, Yusry embraced his wife tightly while planting a kiss on her forehead.
Through a video, Yusry, 52, shared that their home felt empty without the presence of his beloved wife.
“I am waiting for Lisa’s return from the holy land. Alhamdulillah, all the Hajj rituals have been completed.
“A house is not a perfect home without Lisa,” he said in a video on Instagram.
At the same time, Lisa was also seen shedding tears of joy upon reuniting with her family.
Previously, Lisa left for Mecca to perform the fifth pillar of Islam alone without her husband by her side.
It is understood that Yusry’s Hajj visa application appeal was rejected, meaning he did not have the opportunity to perform the pilgrimage together with her.
